University of Hyderabad - Admission Notification 2008 – 09

The entrance examinations for admission to various courses during 2008-09 will be held from 1st to 7th June, 2008 at Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Patna, Pune, Tirupati, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. The University reserves the right to cancel any of the examination centers and allot another nearer centre for applicants of the centre cancelled.

Important Dates

Commencement of counter sale of Prospectus-cum-Application Forms: 04.04.2008

Last date for receiving requisitions for issue of Prospectus-cum-Application Forms by post: 27.04.2008

Last date for counter sale of Prospectus-cum-Application Forms and submission of filled in Application Forms: 03.05.2008

Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree and expecting their results and certificates before 31st July 2008 are also eligible to apply.

The Prospectus-cum-Application Form can also be downloaded from the University`s website (available from 04.04.2008 to 03.05.2008) and duly filled in such application/s can be sent enclosing there with a bank draft of Rs.150/- for each course in the case of General Category and Rs.50/- for each course in the case of SC/ST/PH categories.
